Presenter: Richard Kaufman, Vice President of Employee Benefits, Aon Hewitt. Richard’s primary responsibilities include account management for several large clients, as well as serving as a resource for other members of the firm. Mr. Kaufman has over 25 years of experience in assisting employer clients with their health and benefits needs. Since joining Aon in May, 2008, he has managed a wide variety of clients in various industries. Richard sits on Aon Hewitt’s PEO Private Industry Council and State and Local Government Private Industry Council, and plays a lead role locally as a subject matter expert on health care reform. He also sits on NAPEO’s Associate Member Committee. Prior to joining Aon Consulting, Richard spent 21 years with CIGNA HealthCare, where he became well versed in the issues associated with employee benefits. He has also been quoted in the Miami Herald regarding health care reform, as well as speaking at various conferences on this issue. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts from the University of Florida, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Florida, and a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University.
